Katrina Help Wiki Needs Your Donations
Every little bit counts
The enormous amount of traffic coming in from Yahoo! and other sources is putting a tremendous strain on our humble server. We are looking for either monetary donations to help finance a more robust server, or hardware and rack donations (specifically a stable 1U Colo Linux Server and/or space at a colocation facility). We desperately want to keep the KatrinaHelp Wiki online with as little downtime as possible. Here is our network traffic graph for the last week:
As it stands now, current technical support, bandwidth costs and hardware for the Katrina Help Wiki are provided by the AsiaQuake team, who also support the philanthropic sites TsunamiHelp.info (http://www.tsunamihelp.info/), AsiaQuake.org (http://www.asiaquake.org/), and HCV Action Now (http://www.hcvaction.org), as well as developed the open-source, machine-learning software CompLearn (http://www.complearn.org).
